Kathleen Jacob, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Kathleen Jacob is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience as a therapist. She graduated from the University of Chicago and has continued building her skills throughout her career. She is a certified EMDR practitioner, Grief Recovery facilitator, and is also certified in Interactive Guided imagery.

Personal Statement:
I am passionate about my work and believe that all of us possess the ability to heal emotionally. While our coping skills may be broken, we as people are not. It is my life's work to help people find new ways of dealing with challenges and discover their natural strength.

Modalities:
I am a Systems oriented therapist with training in Cognitive therapy and Brief Treatment. I approach my work with clients from a strengths- based perspective.

Population:
I work with teens, individuals and couples. I specialize in grief and trauma recovery as well as parenting.
