The Center for Divoce Recovery - Verne Noparstak, Psy.D.

Dr. Verne Noparstak is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.  Dr. Noparstak completed his undergraduate education at DePaul University, and received his doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

Personal Statement:
Psychotherapy takes courage: courage to reveal oneself to another person and courage to face uncomfortable truths about oneself. If you’re thinking of entering psychotherapy — or have a loved one who you’re thinking of referring — I believe that you’re one of the healthier people in our society. Too often we can get caught up in destructive relationships; blaming others or accepting circumstances that mire us in resentment, confusion and fear. I view my work with clients, at its core, as a process of building a healthy relationship based on nurturance, sensitive confrontation, collaboration, and honesty in the service of my clients’ self-development. Through our work I hope to support your developing into the creative, confident, authentic person you truly are – realizing your ambitions, speaking up about your pain and your feelings, and living out your unique ways of being in the world and relating to others.
