The Center for Divoce Recovery - Jason Price, LMFT

Jason Price is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, working with individuals, couples, families and groups. He specializes in adolescent issues, including parent/child relationships, self-esteem, academic problems, peer relationships, and behavior concerns. Additionally, Jason Price has extensive experience treating couples and families during times of intense crisis.

Personal Statement:
After receiving my degree from Northwestern University’s The Family Institute, I worked in private practice and directed a youth service agency providing intensive therapeutic programs to adolescents and their families. Throughout my career, I have learned that the therapeutic relationship is central to the work that I do with all of my clients. I am committed to making sure that every one of my clients feels heard, respected, understood, and ultimately, empowered to face whatever challenges may be causing them distress.

My approach to working with individuals, couples and families is to help them identify the underlying patterns that cause stress in their lives and their relationships. It is very common for clients to come into therapy hurt, angry toward one another, and hopeless about their future. I help individuals and families understand and express their intense emotions and become more connected with themselves and with one another. This enables my clients to face their challenges as individuals and as a family unit. I believe that good therapy provides opportunities for individuals and families to continually learn about themselves and grow in healthy ways.

Treatment Areas:
Jason Price has experience treating the following: adolescent issues, parenting concerns, depression, self-esteem, behavior and conduct problems, couple and family relationship problems, and difficult time-of-life transitions.
